Family Dog I
You want your dog to be a good family canine companion...but how do you do that?! Your dog will need to understand how to better navigate a human world, and this means mastering some foundation skills. We do just that in this introductory course.
Using fun and engaging training games that make sense to your dog, we will help them understand what they need to do day-to-day to be a "good dog". This includes:
Offering automatic sits when they want something
Learning to greet people politely
Going to their bed during "people time" (mealtime, watching a movie, etc.)
Waiting politely at doors instead of rushing through
Coming when called
Staying in place when asked
Introduction to walking nicely on-leash
and much more!
Likewise, we will help YOU be a better dog owner! You will walk away with a better understanding of why your dog may be doing something in the first place and how you can better set them, and yourself, up for success.
